Are You Ready For Some Football ... Boudoir?
We may not get much of a fall season here in Southern California, but we know fall is right around the corner because the afternoons get a little shorter, pumpkin flavor is EVERYWHERE and football is on our TV's. As pre-season is coming to an end and he's picking his final selections for his fantasy team, why not celebrate the upcoming season with your guy's favorite jersey? Go ahead and incorporate some of your man's other true love into your session and see if you don't get his attention away from the screen or fantasy football for a little while? A boudoir session will definitely be a touch down and will make him think of you when he pulls out his jersey for the next game. :)
Alicia Keys stopped wearing makeup and, for some reason, the internet loses it's mind!

Do you find it odd that a woman wearing NO makeup on the red carpet can make a such a splash in the media? Have we fallen so short as a society that it is against the norm to go barefaced anywhere?? The fact that there’s even a debate over whether a woman should or shouldn’t wear makeup is asinine! I applaud Alicia Keys for deciding she doesn't need make up whether she’s on the street or on TV and NOT apologizing for it. It’s beautiful and inspiring and it is her CHOICE.
Don’t get me wrong, I love makeup. I love having the option of wearing it. There is obviously no shame in wanting to wear it for fun or as art form and I respect other women who simply love make-up because it's fun, too! If that were not the case, we wouldn’t even offer it in our boudoir experience. But feeling the NEED to cover our faces or being TOLD to look another way because of society’s standards is completely different. That’s not confidence. A woman showing up without make up should not be considered “courageous." No woman should ever be made to feel like they need makeup to be taken seriously or to look pretty. We are enough, just the way we are.
I've been trying to go without makeup a little more this summer so that my sons never ask me why I won't leave the house without it anymore. I don't want my sons to feel like makeup should ever be a necessity on a girl. When they’re old enough to start dating, I want them to be with a girl who is confident in her own skin to wear it when she wants to and NOT wear it when she doesn’t. And it starts with their own mom feeling confident enough wearing a natural face as much as a made up face.
It is actually my hope for all of us girls to be confident and strong enough to throw off the restraints of a society that tries to force us to make personal style choices for the benefit of others. Be true to yourself. If that means wearing makeup daily, do that. If that means wearing minimal to no makeup, I support that too! Just let your own beauty shine! Alicia Keys made the choice that's right for her and set an amazing example at the same time. Three cheers to her for giving us a chance to love her as she is and who she wants to be.

This is Kara, She posts all of our Fitness Fridays. Kara started her health journey a few ago. She has always struggled with her weight, I know this because we have been best friends for 22 years now. She works hard, Really hard. Shes passionate about fitness now, she quit her job of working in retail for 15 years and is now teaching TRX classes and Yoga. She's an inspiration to me, and hopefully to you to. <3

"I had a friend that had done a boudoir shoot with Jeni and Sarah and told me to check it out. I ignored her constant requests for a year. Finally I noticed they were looking for a tattoo'd model, so I said why not. Well they loved my look and asked me to come. I cancelled on them once due to weather and even got major anxiety over doing this. I was literally sick over the idea of this. I finally came to peace with ok just get it done and over with. I brought my sister for "support" and drove the 3 hours to the studio. Upon arriving they made me feel immediately comfortable. I was shaking with nerves! I swear it was only 5 photos in when I was hysterically laughing and felt like I had known them for years. It was like a few friends getting together to hang out. I reviewed my pictures today and to say that I am blown away is an understatement. I keep looking at the photos and almost cry, there is no way those pictures are of me. I have never felt and looked so sexy and confident before, and I cannot wait to surprise my husband of over 20 years with these photos. Thank you ladies for everything. I cannot recommend them enough. They really bring out your inner goddess. xoxoxo"
The Vivacious Miss N!
Miss N brought a certain sass with her to the studio that morning. She came in with such a fun energy all over the place that I knew instantly we were going to have a blast! I love how easy she was to pose, how animated she was during her shoot, and just her general badass-ness! A big thank you for not only trusting us for your boudoir experience, but for being so fearless, too. Check her out!

Confident and Fierce
Originally I did this boudoir session as a gift for my boyfriend, but after seeing my photos today with Jeni, this was definitely a gift for myself as well. I came into the photoshoot nervous and critical as hell. I am my biggest critic and I was so uncomfortable, but Jeni and Sarah were absolutely amazing from the get go!
I walked in (didn't eat yet since I didn't want any bloating), but was happily surprised to see that they had a bunch of snacks for me to nibble on while Sarah did my hair and makeup. They even gave me a glass of white wine (and who doesn't love wine?!) Sarah did an amazing job on my hair and makeup, I don't think I'll ever emulate that again, but ughhh I felt so gorgeous! And then it came time to the photoshoot--yikes! A few shots in and I was surprisingly feeling better, all thanks to Jeni! She was so into it that it made it difficult for me not to be enjoying the photoshoot myself! Once it was over, I was shocked because I was having such a blast!
I had a chance to learn about Eye Kandie Boudoir and both Jeni and Sarah during my session and I was happy to do so. Today was my viewing session with Jeni and I don't regret a thing! Thank you ladies for being so so amazing and inspiring and for sparking a love in myself and my curves like I've never had before. I can truly say I love the skin I'm in! =)
TL;DR: Whether it's a gift for your fiancé, husband, boyfriend or yourself, these ladies will not disappoint! You'll leave feeling confident and beautiful!

We’re looking for 1-2 women of ANY shape and size between 23-45 years old for a boudoir photo shoot. We will be shooting video as well with this casting call.
Absolutely no modeling experience needed!!!
The shoot will take place on June 30th between the hours of 8:30 am - 1:30 pm at a boudoir studio in Costa Mesa.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE AVAILABLE ON THE DATE SPECIFIED BEFORE APPLYING!
** Must sign a full model release as the images & video will be used online and in advertising at our discretion. This includes photos & video revealing your face**
This model release is irrevocable, so please check with your partner and/or employer to make sure you will not encounter any personal hardships as a result of modeling lingerie.
For modeling you will receive:
• A complimentary photo shoot
• Professional makeup and hair styling
• The experience to be a model for the day
• Viewing/ordering session. Purchase only the photos you love!
• $100 product credit towards your purchase
• A special gift of 2 digital negatives.
